In 2004 I'm going to be more like Lewis Black
I'm saying it now...Lewis Black is a god in my country. And as homage to the deity I am going to be more like him in 2004. What does it all mean Tom? Well I realized that this man, a guest anchor and comedian extraordinare on the Daily Show has made a career out of doing what I like doing best: Poking fun at stupid pop culture and everything that falls in between. In other words he gets to bitch and moan in a witty way and get paid for it. As we all know this is one of my all time favorite past times. It may seem like I hate everyone and everything at times, but that's just cause I like using the world as fodder for jokes. This man does it the best. He comes out seeming hot headed and ridiculous, but when you actually listen to what he says you have to laugh, because he's making a good point.

I am really going to strive for this. Some of you may say I have already got the hate everything part down and I need to work on the funny. If it requires me carrying around a little notebook writing down things that people laugh at, so be it. So in 2004, look out for a funnier more bitter Tom. And if you don't like it...deal with it!!!

Penny Arcade!
So this is by far one of the best things I have ever seen. Penny Arcade is this gamer computer geek comic strip I've been reading for 4 years now. Some of the comics are really really geeky and don't make sense. But this one...yes, this one is perfect. Notice they call Jesus "the Jesus." Also take note that Jesus says "I live in heaven with God and stuff." Jesus saying stuff like that is cool. Also he is glittering, like a clean surface in the Mr. Clean commercials. Finally the Mario Kart: Double Dash reference. All I can say is "Shit yeah, ladies. I bring those blue sparks.

More than meets the eye
So maybe there are more than two people reading this. I stand corrected. I have forgotten the power of the profile in all my ranting and raving against AOL. But I realize that mentioning you the reader as well as "Deep thoughts" is a an ample way to get some attention. So here's where you get involved. If you read this damn thing, tell me what you'd like to see. Give me something to rant about, something to talk about, or something you just like to see on here. Anyone home McFly?
There are few of you reading this...maybe 2 the most. The rest of you are too involved in whatever to take a look. I knew one person who said they read this, but I'm not sure if they do anymore. Not that it matters. Maybe I can be deep for a moment. This whole theater thing has me tortured. I mean I know I'm not going to make a career of it, but I've been so involved in this past year and its quite nice. I hope when I go home that I can still find something like it. Or maybe I can transplant it to something else, like politics. They say Reagan was a good president cause he was an actor, and knew how to talk to the people. Hmmmm...
