Oh Nature, how you quite soothe me
The sun was actually directly on my bed today. The ironic thing is it's probably happened before, just no one has been home or awake to witness it. And as annoying as it sounds when one is trying to sleep, it actually was nice to wake up to. I was minutes away from the alarm going off anyway.

Also I went outside to talk on the phone and there staring at me was a mountain of color. There's this huge hill like thing that overlooks Kingswood and this was the first time I think I noticed this mammoth spectrum of trees. But I am enjoying autumn though. The back roads are quite the enjoyable ride cause they are littered with leaves.

Today was just a day filled with nature in all of its autmness. Somewhere on campus there is a single tree surround by small groups of flowers. The flowers are a blood red color, quite nice actually, but the tree itself is still green. It hasn't changed yet but it is starting to. The tips of the leaves are actually just as red as the flowers below it. It looks like the tree bled onto the flowers, completely changing their color. Intentional or not it looks very cool. Gonna try and get a closer look tomorrow.

I recommend you get a closer look as well. Stop for maybe 2 minutes and just look around you. There are things you will notice that you may never get to see.

The Concentric Circle
Who the heck invented the concentric circle? I know it's not exactly a thing, it's more of a simple shape of things. But really, who was the first to discover its effectiveness? Working at the pizza joint has definitely made me appreciate a little thing like the concentric circle because it can do so much. Oh look there's a stain, let me get that. The rub up and down or left and right just doesn't cut it. In comes the concentric circle, removing any tough stain, food particle, or merely loose dirt. It never fails.

Go Guys and Dolls by the way. It has been stressful putting the show together, but as soon as I let go, I knew that the cast would be phenomenal. And they are! It feels good to just sit back and watch. More later.

ALIVE!
Yeah I'm still here. So much has happened in my life since last we've spoken. But I won't tell you because obviously this is not a journal. It's useless mish mash...

Just when I think that I know everything about 80's music, I find a treasure of new and wonderful songs. It only reinforces my obsession with the decade's music. Yeah it is official, I am obsessed. Honestly, if I can listen to it 5 hours at work, only to come home and listen to it more, then I obviously have something wrong with me. But I continue to learn about the time we look back at and say, "What were we thinking?" or "That's awesome!"

I'm having this guilty pleasure thing with Shania Twain. There I said it. What I mean is she is an artist I should have no reason to listen to. She's poppy, country, and mostly popular with girls. So then why is her music infectious? Why do I have at least three of her songs downloaded? And what more why do I actually enjoy listening to them? This definitely goes back far, I mean this isn't 6 months ago Shania. All I say is download "I'm Gonna Getcha" and tell me you don't like that song.
