A Journal About Journals
Of course this is the inevitable post. The "Why I never write in this damn thing" post. I went to the Barnes and Noble yesterday, and there staring back at me from the shelves were these pages and pages of empty Journals waiting to be written. And they all look so damn cool! But I've done this before. I buy one of these schmancy things and start writing, but then I grow weary and stop. Then I try one of these online things figuring that the less work means more writing. I'm wrong. Let's face it, I just can never keep up with these things.

But there is always a time for change. Like if I vow, and vow as in slice my hand open and bleed on the keyboard for an oath kind of vow, then I have to do it. I can't let the public down. They demand completely useless crap at a weekly if not daily level. And by god they will get it.

The highlight of my day came after class, when I got a voice mail from my lovely girlfriend stating that Sunny 104.5 was playing Christmas music all weekend. I popped into my car and put on the station and never looked back. You see I was explaining to her this past week actually, that last year this station was playing Christmas music well before Thanksgiving. Something like this was most unheard of. But I definitely enjoyed it. And they are doing it again!! So I sit here drowning in music that really shouldn't be legally heard until after Thanksgiving. I fear thought that it may only be on weekends, at least until Thanksgiving anyway. I do like the comfort of knowing that this music is always at my finger tips before during and right after the season. Well I get to enjoy this weekend and probably next and all them after. Gooooooooooooo Music!
